In 2016 Christos FC of Baltimore, MD won the USASA National Amateur Cup wrapping up an amazing 2015-16 seasonal year with a 29-0-1 (w-l-d) record and winning seven major trophies including the USASA National Amateur Cup, Werner Fricker Open Cup, USASA Region I Amateur Cup, USASA Region I Open Cup, Maryland State Soccer Association (MSSA) Stewart (Amateur) Cup, Maryland State Soccer Association Rowland (Open) Cup, and the Maryland Major Soccer League. Christos defeated the Milwaukee Bavarians to lift the 2016 Cup when Kaoru Forbess, a former pro with the Baltimore Blast, college player with the Maryland Terps, and U18 and U17 youth national team player, one timed an 87th minute shot into the far post.

In 2016-17, Christos FC is looking to match last year’s performance. To date in 2016-17, Christos has not lost a match going 18-0-0 in all competitions and having claimed three trophies including the Maryland Major Soccer League championship, MSSA Stewart Cup, and MSSA Rowland Cup. Christos is slated to being Region I play in April and by virtue of winning the 2016 USASA National Amateur Cup will compete in the Hank Steinbrecher Cup in Cleveland in June in a competition that includes the 2016 champions from the PDL and NPSL.
