FC Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers FC are excited to announce a newly formed partnership between two premier youth and adult soccer programs. The Brewers FC Majors and First Division teams, who compete in the USASA Soccer affiliate Wisconsin Soccer Leagues (WSL), will train and play their home games at the FC Wisconsin Soccer Complex in Germantown, WI, beginning in Spring of 2015. In addition to WSL Majors and Fist Division competition, Brewers FC also has a number of adult teams at the men’s, women’s, open and co-ed  levels, including 0-30 and O-40 levels. FC Wisconsin is also affiliated with US Club Soccer through National Premier League -- Academy Division and US Soccer via the United States Soccer Development Academy as well as the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA).

"As a club we are extremely pleased to partner with such a prestigious Majors club. The Brewers have a tradition which dates back to 1947, and we are excited to work with them moving forward," commented FC Wisconsin Co-Director of Coaching Ben Shepherd. "We are now able to offer our current and former players opportunities to train and play with a Majors organization which we have never been able to do before.” Many of Wisconsin’s soccer legends have played for Brewers FC, including twelve Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame inductees. Both Clubs will also work together hosting community events to create a true community club culture between the two organizations.

Milwaukee Brewers President Billy Thorpe also expressed excitement about future collaboration between the two soccer organizations. “Our players are eager to train and play WSL matches at the FC Wisconsin Soccer Complex,” explained Thorpe. “We are also proud to form a strategic connection with such a well-respected and thriving youth program, led by such a respected and highly recognized coaching staff. This partnership opens up new avenues for those of us with children that are starting to play soccer, as well as those of us that coach”. Brewers FC Vice President and Majors Coach Jim Keller stated “We are looking forward to providing FC Wisconsin players opportunities to continue playing club soccer, at a highly competitive level, through their college careers and beyond.”
