Central Florida Soccer League

League Background

  • Formed in 1964 with 70 players
  • Had over 100 total teams in 2008 including a women's division which we are working towards once again. Currently over 60 total teams within various divisions including Men's Open Premier, Men's Open D1, Men's Over 30 Premier, Men's Over 40 Premier, Men's Over 40A, Men's Over 40B, Men's Over 40C, and Men's Over 50
  • A number of premier teams have participated in several state and national tournaments including the Alarcon State Cup, the Florida Classic, and the US Open Cup. Those teams include CFFC Spartans, OFC Barca, Orlando Storm, and Raggamuffins among others.
  • Teams have developed relationships with a number of PDL and NPSL teams with friendlies including CFFC Spartans hosting Junior Lone Star FC from Philadelphia to help them prepare for their friendly vs the US U-20 National Team. CFFC also played friendlies vs Kraze United and members of multiple teams have played on Kraze United during their competitions.
  • Former professionals have played in our league after retiring including US National Team icon Eddie Johnson
  • Partnership developed with United World Soccer (now Pele Soccer) to provide members discounts on gear
  • Partnership developed with Seminole State Community College for their media department to film some games and create b-roll footage for advertisements.
  • example of one of the Premier Division championship games featuring Orlando Storm vs CFFC Spartans. This game featured former US MNT legend Eddie Johnson, a couple former USL players including former Orlando City players as well.
  • We advertise many events to support various charities and causes including Breast Cancer Awareness month among others.
